Fort Mill, S.C. – Springs Global US has received an outstanding performance award from Sam’s Club for the company’s Serta Two Pack Bed Pillows, which were recognized for strong sales and product sustainability.
“We are committed to providing our customers with exceptional products that appeal to their consumers, and we take great pride in the fact that we can be good environmental stewards with our innovative manufacturing and packaging solutions,” said Torrence Shealy, vp of Springs Global, which is a licensor for Serta basic bedding products.
The Serta Two Pack features a hypoallergenic EcoFill made from recycled water bottles, which lightens the load on landfills. The 300-count damask stripe cover features stain release technology to provide added performance.
The packaging consists of a biodegradable PolyBag that begins to break down at three months and is free from toxic residue, according to Springs. The carton is made of 80% post-consumer recycled corrugate, and the use of recycled content in the packaging reduced annual oil consumption by 6,000 barrels, the company added.
