By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, June 29, 2008

La-Z-Boy has honored high-performing retail sales associates and in-home designers in its La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries network with the company's Pinnacle Club Award, presented in a ceremony at the April High Point Market.

“Each of the Pinnacle Club inductees embody our corporate mission of bringing comfort and ease to our customers throughout each touch point of the furniture shopping experience,” said Steve Matlock, senior vice president of sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy.

The Pinnacle Club Awards recognize the highest-achieving sales associates who participated in 2007 in the Furniture Galleries' Peak Performance Program, which honors outstanding sales consultants in each of the company's seven sales regions.

Honorees among store sales associates were John Bowden, Ontario, Calif.; Anne De Lorenzo, Little Rock, Ark.; Gale Freedman, Kingstowne, Va.; Gary Millrany, Franklin, Tenn.; Aziz Samad, Orland Park, Ill.; Brian Williams, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Steve Williamson, Calgary, Alberta.

Joining the Pinnacle Club among designers were Patti Donovan, Yorba Linda, Calif.; Jennifer Hall-Goetz, Greenfield, Wis.; Patsy King, Greenville, S.C.; Jill Morse, Glendale, Ariz.; Sandra Osman, Victoria, British Columbia; Tatiana Vegas, Orlando, Fla.; and Linda Walko, Scranton, Pa.
