Montage creates new central sales region

Furniture protection plans provider promotes Kearns to VP

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Montage Furniture Services has created a third sales region and promoted Bill Kearns, who has been a sales representative for the furniture protection plans provider, to vice president of the region.

The new central region was carved from the former east and west regions and includes 21 states in the Midwest and Northeast. The company said it was created to enhance support for existing customers and to continue growth.

Kearns has been an MFS sales rep in Indiana and Kentucky. Before joining the company, he was vice president of sales and marketing at bedding major Spring Air, and held management positions at Sears.

“Bill’s management expertise and wealth of strategic planning experience make him a great asset to the MFS management team. His focus will be on sales growth, both for current customers as well as through continued expansion of our customer base,” said Alan Salmon, MFS president.

The company offers a line of underwritten protection plans covering fabric, leather and vinyl upholstery; area rugs, mattresses, wood and other solid surfaces.

States in the new central region include Arkansas, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont and Wisconsin.
