The Brick Group
EDMONTON, Alberta — Nick Bobrow has been named chief financial officer of The Brick Group Income Fund, succeeding Mike Borys, who held the post until late last week.
Bobrow, who will assume the role on Aug. 25, is senior vice president of The Source by Circuit City, a division of Intertan Canada.
At Brick Group, he will report to President and CEO Kim Yost.
Until Bobrow joins the company next month, Jackie Beattie, vice president of finance, will handle the CFO responsibilities.

Grange
CHICAGO — Home furnishings source Grange has hired three new managers for its Chicago showroom.
Laura Tomek, general showroom manager, will oversee sales and operations and will focus on generating client relations outside of the Chicago Merchandise Mart, the company said. Tomek has a background in both sales and interior design.
Kayt Nelson, showroom manager, has a history in the furnishings industry and a mix of sales and marketing experience.
Joy Sweda, also a showroom manager, has worked for a number of high-end interior design firms and as director of operations for Carpet Restorations.

Gates Home Furnishings
GRANTS PASS, Ore. — Flexsteel sales rep Charlie Winans was named Sales Representative of the Year by retailer Gates Home Furnishings here.
Winans represents Flexsteel in southern Oregon, northern and mid-California and Nevada. Gates Home Furnishings has been a Flexsteel Signature Gallery retailer since 2000.
Selection criteria included store visits, timely returned phone calls, education, knowledge of product line, and merchandising and promotion assistance.
