LAS VEGAS — Bedding components manufacturer Hollywood Bed & Spring Mfg. will show in its first permanent showroom at the Las Vegas Market next week.
The company will show in about 1,400 square feet in space 1278 of Building C alongside its metal beds division,Jay Michael Designs.
The showroom will feature bed frame and bedding support products including side rails, pop-up trundles and center support rails produced by Commerce, Calif.-based Hollywood Bed.
Jay Michael Designs will show five to eight new wood and iron beds and daybeds, along with upholstered headboards. Some existing models also will be on display at price points mostly in the $449 to $699 range for a queen-sized bed.
The company will share the space with Gotcha Covered, which sells linens and pillowcases.
Hollywood Bed and Jay Michael Designs previously showed in temporary space in the World Market Center Pavilions.
Until now, much of the company’s sales have been focused on the western states. But Larry Leeb, vice president of sales, said the 80-year-old business recently has added more national accounts.
While Leeb believes Las Vegas is still largely a regional market in terms of dealer attendance, he expects the market also will help grow the company’s business in other states.
“We made the commitment because we really do think it will be a unique opportunity for us to showcase our product and the quality of our products to a larger audience of existing and prospective accounts,” said Leeb. “It’s our expectation to establish some significant partnerships with new retailers.”
