Green components include: frames manufactured from Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood; webbings made from a Hessian cloth and jute or burlap; upholstery materials and fabric made from natural, or non-synthetic, materials including Mongolian horsehair, duck and down feathers, and woolen wadding.
The lines are traditionally styled and available in colors including a vibrant blue and a classic taupe. Accent pillows are added to each piece.
Four Hands is a member of the Sustainable Furniture Council. It has released collections containing such materials as depleted mango trees, found objects and recycled aluminum.
