Carroll Leather integrates lines, expands warehouse

Carroll Leather has updated its logo to reflect its integration of high-end resource The Leather Collection into its line, using elements of both brands’ former logos.
Carroll acquired The Leather Collection late last year and the two companies had been marketed separately. However, the product lines have been merged in recent months, and The Leather Collection is now marketed as a collection within the Carroll Leather lineup.
"Our business has just grown tremendously," said Joe Franck, vice president of Carroll's upholstery division. "We expanded the office right after we made the acquisition, and now we need to expand the warehouse."
He said the 6,000-square-foot expansion will boost the facility 's size to 30,000 square feet.
It will allow Carroll Leather to beef up its already strong in-stock program while taking advantage of the fashion, design and specialty markets where The Leather Collection was strong, said Kym Bauguess, vice president of hospitality sales and marketing and a former principal in The Leather Collection.
"The product lines have merged, changed and grown during the past eight months to the point where it is important to focus on one brand and one image," said Bauguess.
As part of the integration of the product lines, the company has developed a new logo that incorporates elements of previous logos used by Carroll and The Leather Collection.
