RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — Dining furniture import resource GS Furniture will begin moving this month to a larger distribution center and warehouse in Southern California.
The company has signed a long-term lease and will move from its 65,000-square-foot facility here to a 133,000-square-foot building in Riverside, Calif.
The new warehouse allows for more efficient shipping and receiving with cross-docking capabilities and 35-foot ceiling heights, the company said in a press release. The move was made possible by strong growth of current and East Coast customers, the release said.
“We are in a great position for continued growth,” said Dana Steele, vice president of operations.
GS plans to offer Las Vegas Market specials, promoting a stocked warehouse with most items available to ship within a week of order. The company is showing in the World Market Center, B-1108, during the July 28-Aug. 1 event.
