Macy's shuffles execs

NEW YORK — Macy's Home Store has announced senior executive changes in its Big Ticket division, which covers products including furniture, mattresses and area rugs.
Bob Weiser has been named senior vice president, general merchandise manager, for the division. He had been senior vice president, GMM, housewares. He reports to Jeff Kantor, president of Big Ticket.
Succeeding Weiser is Lisa Magann, who has been promoted from vice president, divisional merchandise manager, mattresses and area rugs.
Fitz Read will succeed Magann as vice president, DMM, mattresses and area rugs. He had held the same position for upholstery.
Reporting to Weiser are Read; Bonnie Golde, vice president, fashion and trend, and Bernie Gacka, senior vice president, GMM. Gacka will lead the furniture team and will continue to lead product development with Pete Cassidy, vice president, product development.
Tim Adams remains chairman and CEO of Macy's Home Store and John Harper remains president.
