Home Casual will sell to the specialty patio furniture trade via its new wholly owned subsidiary, 4 Seasons Furniture Co. The formal launch will occur in September at the Casual Furniture Market in Chicago.
4 Seasons will focus on the high-end woven segment, leveraging Home Casual's design team and the specialty production capabilities of its new 1-million-square-foot facility in Qingdao, China.
A 50,000-square-foot showroom also was recently completed to support the company's overall marketing effort.
“As one of the world's largest producers of all-weather wicker furniture, Home Casual has been at the forefront of emerging fashion and trends for many years,” said co-founder Don Corning.
“We are tremendously excited to bring our passion for this business to the specialty market.”
The new subsidiary will introduce more than a dozen new collections in Chicago.
Each design will incorporate unique yarns and weaves.
