City Furniture gets approval for Boca Raton, Fla., store

BOCA RATON, FLA.-City Furniture got the nod from the Boca Raton Airport Authority to build a 98,000-square-foot City Furniture and Ashley Furniture HomeStore complex on sought-after property near the airport, according to a local news report.The Fort Lauderdale-based Top 100 company's offer to pay a $650,000 annual lease was chosen over an entertainment company's plan for a retail and multi-use entertainment complex.
