New F/T Web site goes live
By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, August 25, 2008
HIGH POINT — Furniture/Today has overhauled its Web site, offering readers a more interactive environment and richer content and advertisers a better marketing vehicle.
Several new features are on the home page at www.furnituretoday.com, which also uses updated technology for searches and navigation.
“The investment that our parent company, Reed Business Information, has made to enhance our already powerful Web site will pay dividends for our readers by allowing them to access even more news and information than ever before,” said Ray Allegrezza, Furniture/Today's editor-in-chief.
“Since debuting the industry's first electronic daily news dispatch in 2000 with our e-Daily, we've constantly looked for better ways to give our audience enhanced content on demand, and our redesigned Web site marks another major step in that direction,” Allegrezza said.
Furniture/Today's site attracts some 190,000 unique visitors each month, he added.
Key features of the updated site include:
-
Enhanced search with Zibb technology. The search field is prominent on the home page, for ease of use and fast access to archives.
-
Improved navigation. The home page holds more new interactive features and information. Links to related stories and Web sites allow readers to easily find topics of interest.
-
Cleaner design. Top stories, breaking news and features are easier to find. More headlines are displayed on the home page.

Updated industry news. Fresh, exclusive content is provided by our staff and reliable sources around the Web.
