Gift Fair teams with Right Angle on exhibitor training

White Plains, N.Y. – Exhibitors planning for the summer edition (Aug. 15-20) of the New York International Gift Fair can sign up for a suite of consultations and training webinars, with on-site followup at the Fair.
With an eye toward helping exhibitors maximize their interactions with buyers, NYIGF has partnered with Right Angle Strategies for the program.
Right Angle Strategies was formed by gift and home industry veterans Stu Teller, who had operated sales agencies for OneCoast and Madco Inc.; and Laura Blunt, formerly vp sales and marketing of Natural Life, and president of the Gift Sales Managers Association.
The first of two pre-show webinars, “Pre-show Marketing to Drive Your Sales,” will focus on market readiness, pre-show marketing campaigns and on-site promotions. The second, “What to Expect and How to Prepare,” will cover pre-show operations, lead generation, booth set-up info and etiquette, and post-show follow-up. The webinars will air on May 21 and June 18.
At market on Aug. 19, the seminar “How to Manage Orders and Leads” will cover lead follow-up, closing sales, order and payment processing and working with sales agencies, the companies said.
The cost to participate in each webinar is $10 per company; and tickets for the onsite seminar cost $20 advance/$25 onsite. Exhibitors can register online after Friday, April 3.
Right Angle Strategies will offer free 15-minute consultations at the Javits Center on a first-come-first-serve appointment basis, to NYIGF exhibitors. To register for the consultations, email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
