RoomPlace taps Zimmerman for ad campaign
Plans estimated $10 million integrated program

LOMBARD, Ill. - The RoomPlace here has hired Zimmerman Advertising as its agency of record for an expected $10 million integrated advertising campaign, Zimmerman said in a release."With the housing crunch dramatically affecting home furnishing sales, the sector is facing great challenge, said Jordan Zimmerman, founder and chairman of the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based agency. RoomPlace President and CEO Bruce Berman said the retailer thinks adding Zimmerman "to our strong team will help support our continued growth strategy."
Ranked No. 40 on Furniture/Today's Top 100, The RoomPlace operates 22 stores in greater Chicago, Rockford, Ill., Merrillville and Mishawaka, Ind., and Indianapolis.
Zimmerman, part of the Omnicom Group global marketing and corporate communications company, is the 14th largest advertising agency in the United States.
