CUMBERLAND, R.I — CUMBERLAND, R.I. — John Bradshaw has been named national sales manager for rug source International Textile Mfg., according to Ed Pires, executive vice president of sales and product development. The appointment is effective Sept. 15.
Bradshaw comes to ITM from Colonial Mills, where he spent the past 18 years, most recently as vice president of national accounts. At ITM, he will direct a network of sales representatives and will handle many national accounts.
“Bradshaw will hone our sales focus and will also direct the marketing efforts for our growing array of product,” said Pires.
ITM, which was formed earlier this year as a manufacturer and importer of rugs geared to the mass market channel, is making its market debut at this week's New York Home Textiles Market. The company is showing Sept. 15-19 at the Carlton Hotel on Madison Avenue between 28th and 29th streets.
ITM's lead designer is Kea Capel Meacham.
New products include woven fabric braids, cotton chenille rugs, jute rectangular rugs and recycled post-consumer polyester braids.
Many of ITM's rugs are imported from India.
The company also has a small manufacturing facility in Cumberland, R.I.
