GREENSBORO — Polyester and nylon yarn producer Unifi has unveiled a new Web site as part of a campaign to promote Repreve, its family of 100% recyclable yarns.
The site at www.repreve.com is focused on educating users about the environmental benefits of the product and the importance of energy conservation and recycling. The site is one of several initiatives in Unifi's Repreve for the Planet campaign to offer sustainable textile solutions.
"Unifi is taking a unique approach in educating consumers and the industry about Repreve, while involving them in the process of doing more to support environmental efforts," said Roger Berrier, Unifi executive vice president. "The Web site serves as a foundation for our efforts, and reinforces our commitment to protecting and conserving natural resources."
