Seahawk Designs offers Synergy

Las Vegas - Addressing the growing market for adjustable bed bases, Seahawk Designs is introducing the Synergy Collection, a series of low-profile platform beds engineered to accommodate most of the adjustable beds on the market today.
Officials of the Riverside, Calif.-based producer, which showsin World Market Center B-970,said the new series features amplestorage in seven designer woodand upholstery finishes as well asmatching headboard options.
The Synergy Collection is offeredin five upholstery optionsas well as two wood finishes -Espresso and a lighter, weatheredDriftwood. Each piece can be soldalone or with a matching 60-inchheadboard.
"Continued feedback fromretailers really sparked the creationof the Synergy Collection," saidWilliam Jahn, CEO of SeahawkDesigns. "Consumers were lookingfor two things - a stylishfoundation for their adjustable bedand full storage capabilities. Thatsimply didn't exist until now. Betteryet, we've created a universal pieceof furniture engineered to workwith the most popular adjustable on the market."
He said retailers who have seenthe line believe the new pieces willmeet their customers' needs - andhelp them boost their sales tickets.
Jahn added: "Care has to betaken with bases that they do notexceed 30 inches in height, becauseat that height the consumer wouldneed a stepstool just to get intobed! It's impractical and makes thebed appear overly large. However, that's a common problem whenadding any foundation to an adjustablebase. Our design keeps themattress at standard bed height, sothat it's both elegant and practical."
The Synergy pieces feature asmuch storage capacity as a bedroomchest, with four 24-inch fullextension drawers that have touchlatch features, the company said.
Seahawk Designs is also showingfour new headboards as partof its Casual Elegance collection.Designed to be fashion-forwardwhile having broad appeal, theupholstered headboards featurecorrelated fabrics for added textureand richness that can be combinedwith any of the company's storagebases.
"We're always working toidentify the latest trends in fashionand furniture to be able to bringour retail partners a finished productthat is stylish and high-gradewhile maintaining mid-rangepricing," Jahn said. "Our customersare really looking for fashionforwardproduct that is versatileenough to integrate into any bedroomdécor."
The headboards are also idealfor anyone who wants the addedbenefit of extra storage, as theyare designed to fit with the CasualElegance collection's storage bases,Jahn added. The storage bases areavailable with either two or fouroversized, full extension drawersplaced at either the sides or foot ofthe bed.
