AICO honors three women as top performers

Pico Rivera, Calif. - Full-line furniture supplier AICO/Amini Innovation saluted three women with its honors for top employees at its annual holiday party.
The festivities at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, Calif., drew more than 220 guests for dinner, dancing and live entertainment.
Named Employee of the Year was AICO's international purchasing manager, Bonnie Chung, who has been with the company for more than 10 years.
"Bonnie plays an important role in communicating with our vendor and factory partners as well as supervising our supply chain team," said AICO President Martin Ploy. "She is a truly valuable employee whose consistent effort and commitment are worthy of our highest recognition."
The Spirit of Excellence award went to Darla Lester, executive assistant to the president and CEO. This award is given to individuals that demonstrate a passion for excellence in their work on a daily basis. Lester has been with AICO for more than 11 years and has an effect on many areas of the company, playing a key role in orchestrating high-level initiatives.
Kim DiNonno, director of design development, was presented with the Rising Star award.
‘Kim has quickly become an important part of the AICO team as she has made significant contributions to both our product and showroom presentation," said Chuck Reilly, the company's senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Company CEO Michael Amini added, "I am very proud of Bonnie, Darla and Kim as they truly care about the interest of the company and the team. They represent both AICO and our industry with passion and pride."
