Pantone's Eiseman to lead TCHFM conference session on color
Michael J. Knell -- Furniture Today, December 20, 2013
TORONTO - For the second consecutive year, color expert Leatrice Eiseman will present the Pantone 2014 color forecast to industry professionals attending the 2014 Canadian Home Furnishings Market here.
TCHFM will open for its usual four-day run at the International Centre here on Jan. 11.
Eiseman's presentation will be the only seminar held this market.
"When it comes to color, not all shades are created equal. From retail spaces to furniture materials, the selected hue can directly impact the consumer experience," market organizers said.
During the session, Eiseman will take an in-depth look at the nine color palettes from the Pantone View Home + Interiors 2014 trend forecast. "This highly visual presentation will showcase how color can influence design choices for the upcoming year," market officials said.
Eiseman is the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute and the director of the Eiseman Center for Color Information & Training. She helps companies make key color decisions that are critical to the success of a product or an environment.
The conference session will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, in room Orion B, in the conference area of the International Center. Attendance is free to all market attendees.
