Englander celebrating 120th anniversary with aggressive pricing

Las Vegas - Top 10 bedding producer Englander is celebrating its 120th anniversary with aggressively priced models across all of its lines and some new special edition models, too.
The Olive Branch, Miss.-based producer says it hasenjoyed one of the longest successfultenures in the mattressindustry. So it's celebrating withspecial models in its TensionEase,Posture Support Plus and Nature'sFinest brands. The threenew Anniversary Edition modelsuse ultra-premium componentsand designs intended to giveretailers attractive values to promoteon premium Englanderbrands, the company said.

Englander's AnniversaryEdition collection starts at $999with a Tension Ease Edisonmodel that uses a foam-encased,eight-inch zoned and wrappedcoil unit. The bed features layersof visco and super-soft foams,crowned with a perforated geltopper for cooling comfort.
First introduced in 1957, theTension Ease sleep system wasdesigned to deliver stress-freesleep. Its encased coil constructionwas patented in 2003.
At the $1,299 retail level,Englander is offering an AnniversaryEdition model in its just introduced Posture Support Plusline, which normally retails from$1,599 to $1,999.
Designed "for bodies of everyshape and size including thelarger sleeper," the Cleveland AnniversaryEdition model featuresthe company's patent-pendingDual Coil construction: a threezone,fabric-encased micro-coilunit that's securely fastened to aseven-inch, heavy-gauge foamencasedunit beneath it.
The top unit delivers body conformanceand comfort; the bottomunit lends strength, support anddurability to the mattress, officialssaid. Also featured in the bed, marketedas The Big Sleep Solution,are multiple foam layers topped bya perforated gel layer.
At the top of the AnniversaryEdition line is a Nature's FinestPhillipe model at $1,499 inqueen. A specialty brand thatEnglander first brought to marketin 1996, the Nature's Finestbed combines a high-density polyfoam base with latex, super-softfoams and a layer of perforatedgel at the top.
Englander's Anniversary Editionmodels range in height from11.5 to nearly 15 inches andcarry 20-year warranties. Thebeds are quilted and offered inplush top and box top styles.
To attract attention on storefloors the company has createdanniversary-themed light boxes,floor mats and headboards,along with coordinated top-ofbedaccessories.
