The company, which attributesmuch of its growth to e-commercesales in the past two years, will usethe new plant to produce its flagshipSouthern Comfort upholsterybrand.

In addition to e-commerce, thecompany said it is targeting furnitureretailers that focus on promotionallypriced goods and serveinner-city residents and Hispanicsin large metropolitan areas suchas New York and Chicago. Thoseretailers increasingly are seekingdomestically produced furniturebecause of the high freight costs onimported goods, Laousis said.
Founded in 2010, the companyalso produces promotionally pricedbedding under the Sleep Linename.
