Leather Italia donates to Burn Center

Wilmington, N.C. - Leather upholstery resource Leather Italia has donated $10,000 to the Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill, N.C., to support a clinic that will be named for the daughter of CEO Mike Campbell.
     The money was raised at benefitconcert in September organizedby the company and the nonprofitgroup Chords for a Cause.
     The clinic will serve burnpatients in Wilmington and surroundingNew Hanover County byallowing them to complete routinedoctors' visits closer to home.
     It will be named for Campbell's10-year-old daughter, Taylor, whowas a patient at the Jaycee BurnCenter after being severely burnedwhen she was eight months old."It is very exciting to supportsuch a great group of people. TheTaylor Campbell Burn Clinic ofSoutheastern North Carolina willsupport and aid so many familiesthat face this injury, and will especiallybe designed towards assistingchildren with burn injuries," saidMike Campbell. "This facility willallow families in our region to staynear home and it will preserve timeand cost for those in need."
     Campbell is a member of theburn center's advisory board.
