NAHFA benefits extended to Authentic Home Furnishings Assn. members

ROSEVILLE, Calif. - The North American Home Furnishings Assn. and the Authentic Home Furnishings Assn. have announced a partnership that will allow AHF members to participate in NAHFA membership programs.
The Authentic Home Furnishings Assn., formerly known as the Unfinished Furniture Assn., represents more than 400 retailers, manufacturers, and sales representatives of what it calls "real wood furniture" that can be finished and styled to meet consumers' specifications.
"The North American Home Furnishings Assn. looks forward to working with AHF members," said Sharron Bradley, NAHFA's CEO. "This partnership further unifies and strengthens the home furnishings industry, and enables us to reach out and help more retailers - which is always our goal."
AHF members will enjoy benefits including access to reduced rates on credit card processing and consumer financing, programs for advertising and marketing, business resources, shipping programs, and discounts on operations and human resource services and products.
"We are pleased, that by working with NAHFA, we are able to offer our members the opportunity to benefit from savings associated with the large group purchasing programs they offer," said Tim Case, AHF's president. "Our activities have always focused on trade shows and member certification programs, so we are excited about the opportunity to stay connected with our industry through the recently expanded NAHFA."
