Henner will be in Spring Air’s World Market Center B-1126 showroom on the opening day of market, Jan. 26, to promote life improvement and sign copies of her latest book.

Henner, who starred on “Taxi” from 1978 to 1983 and appeared on “The All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” show last year, also will be helping Spring Air spotlight its new Sleep Sense hybrid Back Supporter beds. Henner says she is a “devoted” Sleep Sense sleeper.

She has written nine books since 1994 dedicated to improving diet, health and lifestyle.

“We’re very excited to have with us Marilu Henner, who is well versed on the role of sleep in the framework of good health,” said Spring Air President Rick Robinson.

He said that through her work as a performer, writer and current host of “The Marilu Show,” airing weekday mornings on the GCN Live radio network and at www.Marilushow.com, she has established a following of upwardly mobile women, 40 to 65. “That demographic segment represents a good portion of the U.S. target market for upscale mattress purchases,” he said.

In recent years, Henner has appeared on radio and network TV shows to discuss a rare medical condition she has, known as Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory. That condition enables her to vividly remember specific events and minute details of any day in her life since childhood.

Henner is one of only 12 documented cases worldwide of HSAM, a condition identified only as recently as 2006.
Published by Simon & Schuster in 2012, her latest book, “Total Memory Makeover: Uncover Your Past, Take Charge of Your Future,” is a New York Times bestseller and offers instruction on how people might access their own autobiographical memories.

As a memory expert, Henner also is currently a consultant for the CBS show, “Unforgettable.”
Henner lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two teenage sons. She will appear this month on “The Couch” (CBS), “Good Day New York” (Fox), “Today Show” and “New York Live,” both on NBC.

Henner also will star this month in a film titled “June in January,” airing on the Hallmark Channel.
