China International Furniture Fair prepares for March event
December 20, 2013,
The 33rd edition of the fair will cover residential furniture as well as outdoor, home décor and home accents, and home textiles. Combined, these categories will span about seven million square feet of exhibition space and feature 3,800 exhibitors, show officials said.
The furniture segment covers about half this space and includes about 1,700 exhibitors, show officials said. It is expected to draw about 100,000 or half of the total 200,000 visitors expected from around the world.
Among the key features of this year's event are a 200,000-square-foot space reserved for well-known international brands such as Natuzzi, Ashley, Cheers, Chateau D'Ax, Cavalli, HTL and Lugano Furniture. The show also will have a dedicated area for youth furniture called the Kids & Teens Furniture Zone.
As buyers have come to expect, halls also segment various styles and design categories including classical and modern furniture. Home furnishings design trends will be featured as part of the sixth CIFF Design Gallery.
An office segment of CIFF will be held March 28-April 1 at the same complex. This segment also features the China International Furniture Machinery & Furniture Raw Materials Fair.
