Michael Kuhn, former CEO of Roomful Express, dies at 52

FOX CHAPEL, Pa. — Michael Kuhn, who was president and CEO of the former Roomful Express Furniture in Pittsburgh, died Jan. 26. He was 52.
Survivors include his wife, Beth Kuhn; a son, Michael Robert Kuhn; two daughters, Dr. Natalie Maida and Ashley Maida; a brother and a nephew.
An obituary posted by Burket-Truby Funeral Home, noted Kuhn's time leading the former Top 100 company Roomful Express Furniture of Pittsburgh, which operated 10 Roomful Express stores in Pennsylvania and one in St. Clairsville, Ohio, as well as two Ashley Furniture HomeStores in the Johnstown-Altoona, Pa., market, before closing in 2011.
A devoted husband and father, Kuhn enjoyed spending time with his son at Boy Scouts and skiing with his family at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
