Blu-Tek display wins award

KingsdownKingsdown won a design award for this Blu-Tek headboard display.
MEBANE, N.C. - Top 15 bedding producer Kings down won Gold for its Blu-Tek headboard display in the Specialty Stores category at the 2013 Design of the Times Awards, a competition that recognizes the most creative in-store point-ofpurchase displays, marketing campaigns and branding solutions.
   "When we envisioned themerchandising for Blu-Tek,we really wanted it to be asdifferent as the mattressesthemselves," said KingsdownDirector of Marketing JacquelineMorton. "We wanted ourproduct to be a standout onretail floors, which in manycases were just a sea of whiterectangles.
