WARREN, Mich. — Scott Shuptrine Interiors, an upscale division of Art Van Furniture, has named Jeanette McNamara director.

She replaces Nancy Jones, who left the company.

McNamara will be responsible for all Scott Shuptrine operations, overseeing galleries in Grand Rapids, Royal Oak and Petoskey, Mich., and leading a team to "determine the potential to take the furniture concept to Chicago and beyond," the company said in a release.

She reports to Kim Yost, CEO of Warren, Mich.-based Art Van.

McNamara has more than 15 years of leadership and sales experience, most recently as corporate district manager for Pottery Barn Kids and Teen, a division of Williams-Sonoma, in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was part of the team that helped lead and grow Pottery Barn Teen from five to 15 stores in 2013.
