Tupelo market Chairman V.M. Cleveland (left) and market president Kevin Seddon (right) presented the market’s Buyer Appreciation Award to Mike Hebert, Bert Landry and Joey Thompson of Affordable Home Furnishings in Lafayette, La.
The retailer, which has been sending buyers to the Tupelo market since the late 1980s, was cited for its loyalty to the market and longstanding support of the home furnishings industry.
Founded by Chris and Stacy Overton, the company is the largest locally-owned RTO operation in the South. Most of its stores are in Louisiana, but it also has locations in Mississippi and Texas.
The award is presented at every Tupelo market to a buyer or retail company who regularly shops here. The next market takes place Aug. 14-17.
