Taylorsville, N.C. - Richard Meadors has been hired as a regional sales manager for upholstery source Craftmaster Furniture.
     In his new role, Meadors will work with the company's sales organization, focusing on key accounts throughout the eastern U.S. He will report to Alex Reeves, vice president of sales and merchandising.
     "We have had unprecedented growth at Craftmaster over the past several years and now have the need for additional sales management to achieve our future growth plans," said Roy Calcagne, president and CEO. "Richard brings a tremendous amount of upholstery experience to our organization and a proven track record within the industry. He has over 25 years of experience within the furniture industry in various sales and management positions, and I am excited to have Richard on our team to help drive our sales to the next level.
     Meadors has sales representative experience with Broyhill Furniture, Hickory Hill and Dimplex. He started his career at Bassett Furniture in the upholstery division.
     Craftmaster is a subsidiary of Samson Holdings, which also owns with Universal Furniture and Legacy Classic Furniture.

Inada USA
BOULDER, Colo. - Inada USA, the U.S. distributor of Inada brand massage chairs, has expanded its marketing and sales staff with the hiring of Jill Goodwin-Helgerson as marketing manager and Todd Theissen as sales manager.
     Goodwin-Helgerson has more than 10 years of experience developing marketing strategies in business-to-business and business-to-consumer environments, and also has worked in event and trade show planning.
     "Jill faces the formidable task of organizing and managing the significant marketing challenges we face in our rapidly growing business," said Cliff Levin, president of Inada USA. "What's more, she is critical in our effort to reach the 2014 company target of 25% revenue growth."
     Theissen will be based in Madison, Wis., and will concentrate on developing the company's dealer base in the Midwest. Levin said the company is especially interested in improving sales in the Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis markets.
     Theissen also will manage certain key national accounts and help identify new channel and marketing opportunities.
     He has more than 20 years' experience in key account sales and executive management. Most recently, he was director of sales at Inner Balance Wellness, a division of Johnson Health Tech.

Capel Rugs
TROY, N.C. - Capel Rugs announced the hire of Boyd Marks as its manager of sales for Alabama and the Florida panhandle.
     "Boyd's proven success in merchandising, purchasing and sales made him the ideal candidate for this position," said Allen Robertson, vice president of sales for Capel Rugs. "Boyd will enable us to dramatically increase service to our furniture and flooring customers in these strategic market areas."
     Marks, who reports to Robertson, has been a sales representative for 18 year s.
     Marks began his career in 1988 in Nashville, Tenn., as director of merchandising for American Sofa Inc. He then worked with Marks Fitzgerald Furniture Co. in buying and management roles, and with Farmer's Furniture Co. and La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries.
     He is based in Fairhope, Ala. He will continue to leverage his existing relationships with dealers in the Gulf Coast region, including Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Destin, Panama City, Apalachicola and Pensacola.

Sears Canada
     TORONTO - Sears Canada has appointed H. Ronald Weissman to its board of directors. He succeeds E.J. Bird, who is stepping down from the board to focus on his current role as the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer.
     Weissman is a director of Encore Capital Group and chairman of the Office of Finance of the U.S. Federal Home Loan Bank System.
     Bird joined the board of Sears Canada in May 2006 and until his appointment as CFO earlier this year, was lead director and chairman of the board's audit committee.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Adjustable base supplier Ergomotion bolstered its domestic sales team with the addition of industry veterans Paris Fealy and Kevin Fealy, coupled with two regional promotions.
     Paris Fealy is Ergomotion's new vice president of sales for the Western U.S. region. Prior to joining Ergomotion, Fealy was a senior territory manager at Sealy, where he was recognized for having the highest average unit selling price in 2012. He earlier held key account executive and management roles with Serta, Mattress Giant and Ashley Furniture.
     Kevin Fealy, brother of Paris, is Ergomotion's new Northwest U.S. executive. He also held various managerial and sales positions at retailers Mattress Giant, Metro Mattress, and Mattress City.
     "The Fealy brothers are a tremendous addition to the Ergomotion family," said Leo Vera, Ergomotion's chief operating officer. "Our customers have told us they wish for us to continue to provide expertise, training support, and service both for sell-in and sell through of our products and programs. The addition of the Fealy brothers allows us to continue to do just that."
     Other personnel changes include key promotions in the company's Southwest and Southeast markets.
Chris Griggs was promoted to account manager for the US Southwest region, from account specialist. Before working at Ergomotion, Griggs was a retail sales associate for Mattress Giant.
     Robert Gellman was promoted to account manager for the US Southeast region, from account specialist. Gellman has worked for nearly a decade as a retail and account manager in international bedding, textiles, and electronics.
The Fealy brothers, Griggs and Gellman all report to Vera.

Loloi Rugs
DALLAS - Rug and home décor manufacturer Loloi Rugs announced that John Thompson has rejoined the company as its new Southeast region sales manager.
     Thompson began in the new role prior to the Atlanta market, near his Georgia base of operations. In the position, Thompson will manage and train Loloi's sales team in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and southern Virginia. He reports to Austin Craley, vice president of sales.
     "John is a highly respected member of our industry, and his extensive experience in the Southeast will help our firm continue its climb to new levels," said Amir Loloi, CEO. "He has tremendous expertise at managing and training talented sales staff, and in helping retailers maximize their sales potential."
     Prior to rejoining Loloi, Thompson served as the Southeast territory manager for Karastan Rugs. Additionally, he held sales positions with Safavieh and Nourison Rugs.

Nomaco Home Furnishings
ZEBULON, N.C. - Foam component manufacturer Nomaco Home Furnishings has hired John Maynie as its new vice president of sales and marketing.
     With more than 25 years of experience in marketing, business development, technical sales and product development leadership, Maynie will lead the sales and marketing functions and develop new markets for Nomaco, which produces foam components for bedding, seating and protective applications.
     "John has the experience and knowledge to develop and execute business strategies that will produce market leadership and long term growth for Nomaco Home Furnishings," said Craig Waters, president. "We are excited to have him leading our team."
     Maynie launched into his new role at the beginning of the year and reports to Waters.
    Prior to joining the Nomaco family of businesses, Maynie worked for Ford Motor Company, GE Plastics Automotive and Railroad Divisions, Invensys Rail North America and Propex Operating Company. He most recently was director of sales and marketing for Spongex, LLC, formerly owned by Nomaco.
