Two Thomasville of N.J. stores closing

Owners looking for new locations

FAIRFIELD, N.J. — Thomasville Home Furnishings of New Jersey is closing two of its six stores, the Sentinel of North Brunswick and South Brunswick reported.

The Fairfield, N.J.-based retailer will close its stores in Eatontown and East Hanover, N.J., with closing sales beginning Saturday, according to the report.
Owners Edward Massood and Michael Massood said they will search for new locations in Passaic and Monmouth counties.

"With the many changes taking place in the retail landscape, we felt the time was appropriate to close these two stores," the Massoods said in the report.

The Lynch Sales Co. is coordinating the closing sales.
