Frankfurt, Germany - Messe Frankfurt, organizer of Ambiente, an international home furnishings, gifts and accessories market held annually in Frankfurt, has announced that the United States is the Ambiente Partner Country for 2015.
Next year's show will be held Feb. 13-17 at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre here.
During a ceremony last week that included Japan's presentation as Partner Country at this year's Ambiente, Japanese Ambassador Takeshi Nakane passed the Partner Country globe to Kevin C. Milas, consul general of the United States.
"Ambiente is the world's leading event for design trends in the consumer goods sector," Milas said. "With more than 4,700 exhibitors from around 90 countries, it is an outstanding platform for U.S. home products companies that want to strengthen their position in international markets. We are excited about our upcoming cooperation as Partner Country with Messe Frankfurt for 2015, and we look forward to showcasing cutting-edge American interiors, housewares and outdoor design products."
More than 140,000 people from 140 countries and 4,700 exhibitors from 89 countries attended Ambiente 2013. The U.S. is one of the top 15 exhibitor nations at Ambiente 2014 and ranks sixth for visitors to the fair, according to Messe Frankfurt officials.
