Houzz announces rollout of Site Designer tool

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Houzz, a Web and mobile platform for home design and remodeling, has announced the rollout of Site Designer, a free website design tool that helps professional Houzz users create Web and mobile-optimized websites.
The new tool will automatically link to users' Houzz profiles and pull content such as photo projects, business descriptions and client reviews from their existing profiles. The tool will also allow users to manage their Houzz profile and website from a single platform and choose custom themes for their website.
Houzz created the Site Designer tool in hopes of easing the difficultly of creating a custom website for their users.
"Houzz pros tell us that their free Houzz profile is easier and less expensive to update than their own site, and often more attractive," said Alon Cohen, Houzz president and cofounder. "So we're excited to give our pro community the power to publish in minutes a professionally-designed, mobile-ready website."
