IHFC offers food, parking to reps

HIGH POINT — The International Home Furnishings Center is offering special services to members of the International Home Furnishings Representatives Assn. before and during this month's market here.
The building is offering free full-service hot breakfasts on Oct. 18 and Oct. 19, the weekend before the official Monday opening. Meals will be served from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the High Point Room on the 11th floor of the Green wing. Reservations are not required.
The IHFC also has about 200 parking spaces in the Green Drive parking lot that will be available free to IHFRA members the same two days. Members can apply for one of the spaces by submitting their name, mailing address and telephone number to the IHFRA by either e-mailing ihfra@ihfra.org or faxing (336) 464-2125.
The Green Drive lot is the IHFC's truck staging area and trucks may occupy some spaces during the weekend. Therefore, the free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis and having a hangtag does not guarantee a space.
IHFRA members also are eligible to join the IHFC Club, a members-only dining room that will be open Oct. 20-24. Club dues will be waived for the fall market. Interested IHFRA members should contact the IHFRA office for more information.
