King Koil salutes top Indonesian retailers

The Southeast Asia Top Dealer Award for 2013 was awarded to Indonesia’s Chandra Karya Furniture store chain. WILLOWBROOK, Ill. — In the wake of what King Koil said were sales and market share increases by its licensees and retailers in the Asia Pacific region, the company presented several awards for 2013 sales and marketing performance to retailer customers in Indonesia.
Three retailers served by King Koil's Jakarta, Indonesia-based licensee, which is owned by Chairman Andreas Wihardja and Managing Director Hendry Setiawan, were honored for their brand development efforts and sales growth over the past year.
The Chandra Karya Furniture store group, owned by Chandra Kristianto, received the King Koil Southeast Asia Top Dealer Award.
Subur Furniture, a furniture retail chain headed by Rita Wardhani and Benny Japardi, won the King Koil Indonesia Top Dealer Award.
Diana Eva Furniture, operated by Budi Hartono and his wife Tjong Joe Tjin, was honored with the King Koil Indonesia Most Improved Dealer Award.
"Despite the challenges of the world economy, the tremendous development and growth that the King Koil brand has seen in countries like China, Malaysia and Indonesia in recent years has been nothing short of phenomenal," Shoemaker said. "We applaud these retailers for their strong product offerings, luxury brand positioning and the excellent reputations they've earned in their markets."
King Koil is a Top 10 U.S. manufacturer and has an international licensing group that serves 80 countries.
