Sealy files notice to close Dallas plant

DALLAS — Sealy Mattress will begin closing its North Richland Hills factory here beginning April 7, the Dallas Business Journal reports.

The company notified city and state officials in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Act notification letter that the plant, with 114 employees, would cease production on April 30 and will permanently shut down by May 31, the newspaper said.
