Global Link Logistics hosting free seminar

HIGH POINT — Global Link Logistics, which specializes in ocean freight and air freight between Asia and the United States, is hosting a free seminar at the upcoming High Point Market that will delve into a variety of logistics issues.
The seminar, titled “Understanding Cost-Effective Solutions for Today's Furniture Logistics,” will take place at 1 p.m. Oct. 21 on the 12th floor of the Main Wing of the International Home Furnishings Center. It will be held in the seminar room of the NHFA's retailer resource center.
Panelists scheduled to appear are Ed Feitzinger, senior vice president of Global Link; Gene Winters, Global Link's vice president of sales; Ray Kuntz, chairman of the American Trucking Assn.; and David Xiao, head of North American operations for ocean carrier K-Line.
Topics on the agenda include rising fuel and transportation costs, managing Asian logistics and cost-effective transportation strategies.
