New Classic Furniture presents sales awards

Several reps grow sales more than 30%

FONTANA, Calif. — Case goods and upholstery resource New Classic Furniture awarded several of its top performing sales representatives at its annual awards banquet held at the January Las Vegas Market.
Reps who achieved sales growth of more than 30% received the MVP award: Jon Drosnock, New England states; Jim Whitehouse, Kentucky and Indiana; Tom Gaynes, Wisconsin and Illinois; Rich Cohen, Pennsylvania; Joy Rux, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico; Doug King, Los Angeles and Martin Revuelta, San Diego. Each recipient received $500 and a crystal plaque.

Chuck Eddinger of Northern California was named Salesman of the Year. He has been with the company for three years and has grown his territory 30% each year, the company said. He received a crystal plaque, $1,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to China in September.

"Chuck's work ethic and sales ability are second to none in the industry," said Rob Hoffman, executive vice president of sales and marketing.

The company presented its Outstanding Achievement Award to Scott Hill, eastern regional vice president of sales.

"Every once in while a person comes around that has it all," Hoffman said of the award, which the company presents to a person who has gone "above and beyond everyone else in all aspects of business."

"Scott has continued to grow his region every year and has improved the performance of all his sales reps," Hoffman said. "His continual drive to improve and be the best in the industry is something that is not taught, it is ingrained in his nature. Scott makes everyone better who comes in contact with him."
