Kentucky man wins Range Rover from Dormeo N.A.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington resident Walter Arnett filmed a 30-second commercial for Dormeo N.A. at a Sleep Outfitters store here and won a 2013 Range Rover in a social media contest sponsored by Dormeo N.A.

The Plano, Texas-based specialty sleep producer conducted the contest to encourage consumers nationwide to promote the benefits of the company's memory foam Octaspring mattresses. There were more than 750 entrants.
Dormeo executives recently met with Innovative Mattress Solutions CEO Kim Knopf as they presented Arnett with a certificate for the car. The 2013 Range Rover Evoque, which features the Dormeo logo, was given to Arnett at the Sleep Outfitters store in Lexington. Sleep Outfitters is part of the IMS retail portfolio.
Arnett's commercial depicts a man, played by himself, dreaming of sleeping on a comfortable mattress in two sequences - one on a regular bed, the second on a Dormeo mattress, which he decides to purchase. Throughout the commercial, Arnett touches upon the benefits of the Octaspring technology and why he says it provides the best night's sleep.
"It was really exciting to see how engaged consumers were and how creative they could be," said Dormeo Chief Marketing Officer Dany Sfeir. "We saw that our brand truly resonated with a broad consumer base and were happy with the overwhelming response."
"Since IMS was a part of the winning entry, we were thrilled to go above and beyond to surprise Walter with the announcement at the retail location," Sfeir added. "One of the goals of the contest was to drive traffic to retailers and Walter's commercial was a prime example of how we achieved this goal."
