Bemco is giving its dealers a bonus — a new “bonus buys” advertising kit with female-friendly bedding ads. The four ads, customizable for local dealers' use, offer a variety of traffic-building promotions.

  • Casa Grade has a wood and metal bed with a co- ordinating mirror.

  • Artisan has a new wood and metal poster bed and a coordinating bed bench.

CAROLINA MATTRESS GUILD

  • Building its green portfolio with its Natural Living line of seven sleep sets. Models feature encased coils, coil-on-coil construction and all-latex designs. Retails start at $999.

  • Also showing its EZSleep line of ready-to-assemble beds. Retails for an RTA spring mattress start at $599.

FASHION BED GROUP

  • Corrine is a transitional metal bed in a hammered pewter finish with egg-shaped finials that retails at $299.

  • St. Louis is a transitional bed with an arched design in a midnight finish that retails at $399.

  • Grid is a contemporary bed with woven metal slats and a square frame. Available in an iron finish, it retails at $399.

FIVE STAR MATTRESS

Showing its line of promotional and mid-priced bedding, on which it has reduced prices by up to 32%. New models feature Verticoils and memory foam.

FOUR HANDS

Four Hands has reached a distribution agreement with acclaimed British designer John Reeves. It will show his Caprice metal bed, which is made from recycled aluminum and has a raw sand surface that is plated in zinc.

I-CARE SLEEP PRODUCTS

Company will show line of mattresses and sleep accessories featuring eco-friendly foams, ergonomic constructions and health and beauty features.

JOYA SLEEP SYSTEMS BY GARME

PS 1-542 (The Bedding Center)

Company showcases its specialty sleep line of bedding, with a variety of memory foam models, including some in its Bob Timberlake Signature Series.

KAYMED

Specialty sleep producer offers its SleepSpa line of latex, air, visco and gel beds, backed by retail display materials designed to appeal to female consumers, bedding's target audience. A coordinating pillow program is also offered.

MARTHA STEWART: THE GOOD BED

The design diva enters the mattress arena with this line of 12 beds, featuring a number of natural elements, including 100% cotton, New Zealand wool and natural latex. The mattresses are covered with woven or knit ticks of 100% cotton. Retails in the line start at about $1,000.

NATURA

Adding six mattresses to its memory foam, layered latex and all-latex collections as it responds to growing consumer demand for more options in the medium and high-end price points in the green sleep products arena. Some of the beds feature soy foam.

SEALY

  • Expanding its specialty sleep portfolio with the PurEmbrace Posturepedic line of latex beds, a type of bedding for which the company predicts a robust future.

  • Company also continues to tout its “Get a Better Six” advertising campaign, which continues into the fall. The campaign asserts that the company's flagship Posturepedic line is a key to a better six hours of sleep.

THERAPEDIC

Featuring its new I-Care Elite line, which encompasses latex and memory foam mattresses, pillows and toppers. Mattress retails range from $1,299 to $2,199. The line offers several innovative features, according to Therapedic, including a “natural wave” mattress design and the Pretty Pillow, designed to soften the appearance of wrinkles. Hickory Springs' Preserve foam, a bio-based foam, is part of the line's green story.
