Schnadig International promotes four staff members

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Full-line furnishings source Schnadig International has promoted four staff members at its headquarters here.

The company, which makes the Schnadig and Caracole furniture brands, is a subsidiary of China-based parent company Markor International.

Triche Leander has been promoted from senior vice president of operations to the newly created position of senior executive vice president.

Cavin Cox, who has been director of product development for wood products, has been promoted to the new position of vice president of wood product development and international sourcing.

Kristine Capra, formerly director of upholstery merchandising, has been named vice president of upholstery design and merchandising.

Clark Caulder, who has handled a number of tasks in a dual role of administrative assistant to the CEO as well as product development administrator, has been promoted to product development manager.

All four report to Jeff Young, Schnadig's CEO.

"We are particularly pleased when business events allow us to promote associates from within our organization," said Young. "These latest promotions certainly reflect the collective contributions each individual has made to the above average growth and progress of our organization, which includes our parent company, Markor International."
