Zenith expands service

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 6, 2008

Logistics provider Zenith Global Logistics has significantly expanded its less-than-container load service offerings by adding four Pacific Rim ports to its LCL location list.

The service, which has no minimum size requirements, is now available at the Chinese ports of Shanghai, Ningbo and Tianjin, as well as Surabaya, Indonesia.

That's in addition to Zenith's previously announced LCL ports of Yantian, China, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, said Steve Wolfe, vice president of business development.

“We're pleased to be able to give our customers the access they need to these key ports without any shipment size,” Wolfe said.

The LCL expansion comes on the heels of a partnership recently formed with Hong Kong-based IDS Group, which expanded Zenith's warehousing, logistics and transportation services to 15 key Pacific Rim ports.

“We can handle specific services for our customers or manage the entire supply chain, based on their unique requirements,” Wolfe said.
