MMPI hires McAdams, Perryman

HIGH POINT — Sheri McAdams and Brin Perryman have joined Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. as leasing directors for MMPI buildings here.
McAdams has more than 20 years of retail and manufacturing experience in the home furnishings industry. Most recently she was the Southeast sales manager for Gifts & Decorative Accessories magazine, a sister publication of Furniture/Today.
Earlier, she worked for manufacturers and retailers Pacific Rim Import Corp., Loomcraft Textile, Home Impressions, BenchCraft, Bassett, Pennsylvania House, Hickory White, Thomasville, Bradford's and Kittle's.
Perryman is returning to High Point, where he began his industry career in the sales department at Furniture/Today for nine years. Most recently, he was a sales manager at the World Market Center in Las Vegas, which he joined in 2007.
McAdams and Perryman will join two other leasing directors, Julie Messner and Jamie Gragg. All report to Tim McGee, senior vice president and general manager of MMPI in High Point.
This team is responsible for leasing 2.1 million square feet of space in MMPI's six High Point buildings — Plaza Suites, Furniture Plaza, National Furniture Mart, Market Square/Suites at Market Square, Hamilton Market and 300 S. Main Street.
“Combined, Sheri and Brin bring more than 30 years of industry experience to our leasing efforts, and we are excited to have them on board,” said McGee.
