CA Boom East fields eclectic exhibitors

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, October 19, 2008

An eclectic lineup of exhibitors will take part in the new CA Boom East show, which is offering modern, non-traditional products at its premiere at this week's High Point Market.

The Web site for the California-based CA Boom West, at www.caboomshow.com, lists 17 companies that plan to open showrooms at Mill Village, 1014 Mill Ave., an old hosiery mill renovated and opened last market by upholstery producer Cisco Bros., the host company for CA Boom East.

The companies set to exhibit include Animavi, Baz-zeo, Berndt Woods, Bevara Design House, blankblank, Bottega Montana, C Modern, Carol Hicks Bolton Antiques, Cisco Bros., Davistudio, Groundwork, John Derian Furniture, Ku Ambience, Luisana Designs & Antiques, Obleeek Objects and P.Casero.

CA Boom East is modeled after CA Boom West, which started in design-savvy Santa Monica, Calif. In its fifth year this year, the show had 130 exhibitors and drew 8,500 attendees.
