June 10, 2014,
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. — Bedgear CEO Eugene Alletto has been named a finalist for the 2014 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the New York region. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“To be recognized for my vision behind Bedgear is an honor which is deserved by all of the employees of our company, not just me,” Alletto said. “It’s exciting for me to get to play on the Bedgear team, meeting the consumer demand that has been built in the market for our products, as well as pushing to take our business and partnership with our retailers to the next level.”
New York region award winners will be announced at a gala event on June 17 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.
Now in its 28th year, the EY program has expanded to recognize business leaders in more than 145 cities in more than 60 countries throughout the world. Regional award winners are eligible for consideration for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year national program.
