High Point Market Fall 2008: Aspenhome previews new Imagine collection
Line will help raise funds for City of Hope

HIGH POINT — Aspenhome says it will introduce a full-line furniture collection early next year called Imagine, which it will use in part as a conduit for raising funds for City of Hope.The company announced the program and gave visitors a sneak peek at the product at a party in its High Point Market showroom. Imagine will be rolled out in its entirety at the Las Vegas Market in February.

Details were not immediately available on how the fundraising program will work. But the company said it will allow everyone who touches the Imagine product, from designers to consumers, to contribute to City of Hope, a medical research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
"This is a perfect way for the industry to come together," said Bill Colegrove, Aspenhome CEO. "Imagine the possibilities that can occur when we all join forces in a common goal. Raising the money needed to continue City of Hope's valuable research to find cures for those stricken with life-threatening diseases is a wonderful way for us all to give back to our community."
In fact, Aspenhome is calling the fundraising campaign "Imagine the Possibilities."
The company is slated to receive the City of Hope's 2009 Spirit of Life Award in a presentation during the April High Point Market. In connection with the pending award, the company has recognized six members of its management team as "lifetime industry achievers."
"David Heard, Jena Hall, Andy Nielsen, David Blum, Kim Whitlock and Bill Reece have each given 30-plus years to the home furnishings industry and are individuals worthy of recognition," said Colegrove, who also is on the lifetime achievers team.
