King Koil plans Donny Osmond mattress line

Will roll out product in January

WILLOWBROOK, Ill. — Entertainer Donny Osmond is coming to the mattress industry through a licensing agreement with Top 10 bedding producer King Koil.

King Koil will introduce a Donny Osmond Home mattress line at the January Las Vegas Market, officials said.

“We warmly welcome King Koil to our brand family and are extremely pleased to be adding a mattress collection for the first time,” Osmond said. “At DOH, we’re committed to creating innovative products with premier quality and comfort, and to crafting uplifting brand messages that inspire families to spend more time together.”

The multi-category home furnishings brand, Donny Osmond Home by Donny & Debbie Osmond, was launched in 2012 by Donny and his wife with the tagline, “Making Home and Family #1.”

“The Donny Osmond brand personifies trust, integrity and family focus not only in its tagline, but also in the range of licensed products that are designed to enhance harmony at home and to encourage family togetherness,” said Dave Roberts, president and chief operating officer of King Koil. “We share many of the values espoused by the DOH brand and we’re very excited to announce King Koil’s collaboration with Donny and Debbie Osmond and the launch next January in Las Vegas of a mattress line under the DOH umbrella.”

The entire DOH collection, which today involves multiple licensed manufacturers and spans more than 500 furniture and home products, is dedicated to the same family and home values that made Osmond a familiar figure to millions through his more than five decades in music, radio, television and live entertainment, officials said.

King Koil will join a group of nearly 20 licensees making furniture and upholstery, rugs, lighting, wall art, bath and kitchen accessories and other products for the home under the DOH brand, officials said.

DOH targets consumers 35 to 60 — an age group dominated by home owners — with affordable products, King Koil officials said.

This month’s Las Vegas Market will include a DOH Showcase for retailer meetings (World Market Center B-416), six showrooms featuring DOH products, and DOH launch parties plus a market-sponsored event for buyers, “Up Close and Personal with Donny Osmond” on Tuesday, July 29, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Building B lobby.

The Donny Osmond Home brand is managed by Clique Here Inc. with offices in Oakland, Calif., and Decatur, Ga.
