California owners to expand La-Z-Boy furniture chain

Will take over two former McMahan's locations

Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 3, 2008

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Owners of four local La-Z-Boy stores are expanding to Chico and Redding, Calif., according to a story in the Sacramento Business Journal.

Jim and Liz Reego said they also are considering opening in Vacaville and moving a store to Folsom from Rancho Cordova, and will remodel the Roseville store next year. All are in California.

The Chico and Redding stores are in spaces that until recently had housed La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores operated by McMahan's Furniture, which said in August that it was shutting down its operations.
