Former Stein World execs start new co.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Former Stein World executives Mat Marsh, David MacIntosh and Gary Kornegay have started an accent furniture supplier named Coast to Coast Imports.
The company will source from China and other countries and expects initial deliveries to its Memphis warehouse in January or February. It plans to show for the first time at the Las Vegas Market in February.
MacIntosh is chief administrative officer at Coast to Coast. He had been vice president of marketing for Stein World.
Marsh is vice president of sales and marketing for the new firm. He had been executive vice president of Stein World.
Kornegay, a former inventory management specialist for Stein World, is chief financial officer at Coast to Coast.
“We feel our formula for success will help us gain a foothold so that we can enjoy an upswing in the market when that happens,” said Kornegay.
Added MacIntosh, “We believe that we can distinguish ourselves by emphasizing value, delivery and customer service.”
