CARB update on F/T agenda

By Furniture Today Staff -- Furniture Today, November 16, 2008

With the Jan. 1 deadline looming for California to start enforcing its limits on formaldehyde emissions from composite boards used in furniture, Furniture/Today has amended the agenda for its upcoming Leadership Conference and added a presentation that will address this issue.

On Friday, Dec. 5, the American Home Furnishings Alliance's Bill Perdue, an expert on the impending California Air Resources Board regulations, will explain the CARB rules, the effect they will have on the home furnishings industry, and guidelines on how companies can be compliant.

Furniture/Today's Leadership Conference is set for Dec. 3-5 at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Fla.

Registration for the conference remains open.

To sign up online, go to http://www.accentsandfurnishings.com/leadershipconf2008/. Or call Meg Goldsby at Furniture/Today at (336) 605-1066.
